EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion fill a great need in helping to distribute Holy Communion at Mass on Sunday and weekdays. The ministry of extraordinary ministers is open to both religious and lay men and women over the age of eighteen. These men and women bring Communion to the sick and home-bound offering spiritual nourishment and comfort during times of illness and infirmity. They also visit nursing homes, health-related facilities and hospitals within the parish providing a much needed service to those who cannot come to church.

MINISTROS EXTRAORDINARIOS DE LA SAGRADA COMUNIÓN
Los Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión llenan una gran necesidad ayudando a distribuir la Sagrada Comunión en la Misa los domingos y entre semana. El ministerio de los ministros extraordinarios está abierto a hombres y mujeres religiosos y laicos mayores de dieciocho años. Estos hombres y mujeres llevan la Comunión a los enfermos y confinados en sus hogares, ofreciendo alimento espiritual y consuelo en tiempos de enfermedad y dolencia. También visitan hogares de ancianos, centros relacionados con la salud y hospitales dentro de la parroquia, brindando un servicio muy necesario para aquellos que no pueden asistir a la iglesia.

CHOIR /Coro
What motivates someone to give so much time and effort to the service of the church at prayer? What motivates the pastoral musician? Music ministry provides beauty, joy, comfort, inspiration, and musical prayer for our communal liturgies and various parish celebrations. This is possible due to the generous sharing of time and talent of diverse and committed members. The church musician is first a disciple and then a minister. The church musician believes in living their baptismal promise of service. If you can carry a tune, won’t you consider joining our choir? We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7-9 and assist at the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass. It’s helpful but not necessary to be able to read music. Soprano, alto, tenor, or bass –if you’re not sure, we’ll figure it out together. High school and college students, young adults to seniors are welcome. If you’d like to observe a rehearsal, join the choir or need more information, please call for more information.

¿Qué motiva a alguien a dedicar tanto tiempo y esfuerzo al servicio de la iglesia en oración? ¿Qué motiva al músico pastoral? El ministerio musical brinda belleza, alegría, consuelo, inspiración y oración musical para nuestras liturgias comunitarias y varias celebraciones parroquiales. Esto es posible gracias al generoso intercambio de tiempo y talento de miembros diversos y comprometidos. El músico de la iglesia es primero un discípulo y luego un ministro. El músico de la iglesia cree en vivir su promesa bautismal de servicio. Si puede interpretar una melodía, ¿no consideraría unirse a nuestro coro? Ensayamos los jueves por la noche de 7 a 9 y asistimos a la misa dominical de las 10:30 AM. Es útil, pero no necesario, poder leer música. LECTORS/Lectores
Many men and women and youth of the parish proclaim the Word of God as clearly and as lively as they can. This involves a commitment not just to preparing for Mass, but in truly knowing the background of the story. Background information is provided in the Lector's Workbook and enables the Lector to read with understanding and enthusiasm.

Muchos hombres y mujeres y jóvenes de la parroquia proclaman la Palabra de Dios tan clara y vivamente como pueden. Esto implica un compromiso no solo de prepararse para la Misa, sino de conocer verdaderamente el trasfondo de la historia. ALTAR SERVERS/Monaguillos
This group of young children (grades 3 and older) and men/ women, assist the Priest during Mass. Being an altar server is an honor and a privilege which provides the opportunity to participate in the liturgy in a special way. Other goals of the Altar Server Program are to deepen the server's faith, helping the server to appreciate the Mass more deeply, and to inspire young men and women to consider a religious vocation.

Este grupo de niños pequeños (grados 3 y mayores) y hombres/mujeres ayudan al Sacerdote durante la Misa. Ser monaguillo es un honor y un privilegio que brinda la oportunidad de participar en la liturgia de una manera especial. Otros objetivos del Programa de Servidores del Altar son profundizar la fe del servidor, ayudarlo a apreciar la Misa más profundamente e inspirar a hombres y mujeres jóvenes a considerar una vocación religiosa.

USHERS/ acomodadores
Ushers play an important role welcoming the community as we gather for Mass or prayer services. Ushers are a welcoming presence to those who have questions, who may be new to the parish or just visiting . They also assist with the collection and with good order in the assembly.

Los acomodadores juegan un papel importante dando la bienvenida a la comunidad cuando nos reunimos para misa o servicios de oración. Los acomodadores son una presencia acogedora para aquellos que tienen preguntas, que pueden ser nuevos en la parroquia o simplemente visitar. También ayudan con la recaudo y con buen orden en la misa.

Rosary Altar Society/La Sociedad del Altar del Rosario
La Sociedad del Altar del Rosario honra a la Santísima Virgen María para asegurar su patrocinio recitando el Rosario para el beneficio espiritual mutuo de todos los miembros en todo el mundo. Cada miembro debe recitar quince decenas del Rosario cada semana.
El rezo del Rosario también se lleva a cabo durante cada reunión mensual, en los velorios de los miembros fallecidos, en ceremonias como la Coronación de nuestra Santísima Madre en mayo, la inducción de nuevos miembros, la renovación de la membresía y la toma de posesión de los funcionarios.
Además, los miembros se encargan del mantenimiento del Altar, Santuario, Capilla y Sacristía. Esto incluye el lavado de purificadores, toallas y corporales, limpieza y pulido. La mantelería se lleva a casa, se lava y se devuelve semanalmente en un horario rotativo. Se brinda capacitación a los nuevos miembros.
