LAZARUS MINISTRY/El ministerio de Lázaro

The Lazarus ministers are members of the parish who have been trained to assist families with funeral arrangements at church. When possible, they attend a meeting with the priest and the family. They are also available to act as a contact to answer any questions the family might have. When possible, they are also attend the funeral mass.

Los ministros de Lazarus son miembros de la parroquia que han sido capacitados para ayudar a las familias con los arreglos funerarios en la iglesia. Cuando es posible, asisten a una reunión con el sacerdote y la familia. También están disponibles para actuar como contacto para responder cualquier pregunta que la familia pueda tener. Cuando es posible, también asisten a la misa fúnebre.

KNITTING CLUB and Crochet group/Grupo de Tejido y Crochet

St. Hugh Knitting and Crocheting Group makes pre-natal baby blankets and hats that are donated to a neo-natal unit in one of the Catholic hospitals. In the winter we also make scarves and hats which are donated to St. Hugh Outreach.

St. Hugh Knitting and Crochet group meets on Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the St. Clare room in the First Avenue section of the Parish Center. Some people who cannot come in do their knitting and crocheting at home and then bring it in.  We are always looking for people to join us, so you can show up on a Thursday, or bring your donations to St. Hugh Outreach and they will get it to us.

El grupo de Tejido y Crochet de San Hugo fabrica mantas y gorros para bebés prenatales que se donan a una unidad neonatal en uno de los hospitales católicos. En el invierno también hacemos bufandas y gorros que se donan a St. Hugh Outreach.

El grupo St. Hugh de Tejido y  Crochet se reúne los jueves por la tarde de 2:00 a 4:00 p. m. en el salón St. Clare en la sección de la Primera Avenida del Centro Parroquial. Algunas personas que no pueden venir tejen y hacen ganchillo en casa y luego lo traen. Siempre estamos buscando personas que se unan a nosotros, por lo que puede presentarse un jueves o traer sus donaciones a St. Hugh Outreach y ellos lo harán. consíguelo a nosotros.
